When someone emails you three times per day. When it is once per month A keep in touch email with hopefully some useful content. Many people are perfectly comfortable with that.

Make your content double duty!


Include the content in your email also as a post on your website.  This works especially well in the content is likely to stand the test of time.

Telling people that there will be no catering on this coming Monday will age very quickly. Announcing that you have some new facilities which will last for decades to come clearly will be of interest to many for years to come.
