Word Of Mouth Marketing – Worth Going That Extra Yard

I do not think large businesses realise how powerful “word of mouth” marketing is, I guess they become so big the founders move on and the new management is unaware of how they became large in the first place.

In theory small companies should not stand a chance against large ones but in reality they can bring an attention to detail which is lost in large companies.

In 2024 I had the pleasure of meeting a chap called Tam who suggested if a group of us who needed some help to sort out a location and a ski holiday in the Dolomites should engage Andrea who runs Colubris travel.

Our trip was to Corvara in Italy which Andrea had suggested would meet our desire to ski the Dolomites on a budget.  There is no shortage of 4 and 5 star hotels in the Dolomites with prices to match but if you are a keen skier but do not need a 5 star hotel there is a more modest selection visible online.
