Marketing Genius?
Converting client’s ideas into a physical reality. In this project the client wanted a newspaper promoting his services to put through every door in Chipping Campden. 3000 copies of a 8pp Broadsheet which is 578mm deep and 380mm wide with a 15mm white area on all edges, even the centre spread.
I am based in Birmingham and Jesse is based in Chipping Campden I managed to achieve this by posting the pages as they were developed to his website, so he could review them and provide feedback. That worked well.
Not only does the website promote his services but on page 6 Jesse thanks people who have helped him with his current business venture. One of the big ideas which does not happen as much as was envisioned by those who helped create the internet are links from one website to another. Most websites have the usual pages:-
- Home
- About
- Services or Products
- News
- Contact
Smaller businesses would benefit from seeking to link to complimentary suppliers and in turn seek links back from other sites. They could all be on one page https://aluddite.com/thank-yous/ like this, or you could have 18 pages and promote them one per page.
If your website had 18 links back from the 18 sites you promoted that would give you many more than most websites have. The more links you have to your website the more likely it is to end up on the first page of Google results. The links do not have to be suppliers they could be related in some way to your business, or just things you find interesting. More links would benefit all websites.

Link building a bit like slimming everyone talks about it but not many people do it. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) everyone says they do it on the sites they build but in most cases people do not. It is very easy to check if you know how.

- The only part I have not done is deliver this newspaper through the doors of Chipping Campden!
